KIKI! I actually think it turned out pretty good, though its kind of late maybe i'll color it in tomorrow!,
Hayao Miyazaki has announced two new movies coming out in 2013 so I'm kind of excited and all about Ghibli right now. And i still haven't had a chance to watch From Up On Poppy Hill. here's the line up.

And if you still haven't watched it "The Secret World Of Arrietty".
I thought it was a good idea so bam, next i have a small strip, if i finish it up later tonight i may just post it as an edit add on to this post, till then good night.
Hello everyone it's been a very long time since last i posted, i decided to take a different approach at the way my blog was made and i will mainly now focus on only art, drawings or sketches. I just took a little bit of time to re-design my page, it looks fine but is still a work in progress...
so let me see if i have anything i've work on recently that i can share.
here's a couple i did a lil while ago, the lower one is not complete but i got lazy...

Hello everyone it has been a while since I've decided to post anything mostly for the fact i don't have followers.
I know its kind of a general information forum, but it is about stuff i currently find interesting and today it is THIS
From the Japanese Nintendo web site we have 2 new colors announced for the 3DS. Personally i would have liked the white if it was a launch color and the pink i am considering for my daughter.
Another thing that apparently i had missed was that it is planned that Hulu Plus will also be a feature to come, so for those of us who don't have Netflix as i had covered on a previous post, or would rather watch other current cable TV series then this update is for you.
There was also recently a Metal Gear Solid 3D demo released last Thursday which is very much worth playing. It is the first time i have tried a MGS game and it was very fun. Also there was previously a Resident Evil and Mario and Sonic Olympics demo as well.
There is a whole bunch of other releases and updates but we'll save that for another time.
Secondly The Secret Life of Arrietty came out recently and it very good
as you've noticed i'm a huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki so i was not going to miss a chance of seeing this in theaters and i will most likely also buy it when it comes out on dvd.
Also i've been slowly pacing myself through reading Sidooh the manga i'll probably hurry it up though so i can start a new series though, i'll let you know how that goes.

Today i came home finished watching Pocahontas with my daughter and started googling and found THIS http://www.cubeecraft.com/ its an awesome site where you can print out tons of paper crafts of just about any character from whatever show was ever really popular and a bunch of other characters from wherever else.
my first favorite.
Also i stumbled upon this great site http://www.dannychoo.com/ there is still a ton on it i haven't clicked on but so far it looks like a very cool hub for many things Japan. Obviously if you haven't realized it yet, i love all things Japan.
AND since we're talking about anime i've also got to share Ponyo.
Hayao Miyazaki is One actually my favorite directors of any anime movie. I've seen all of his films and so will my kids. I like to share them with people whenever i can so YOU whomever you might be i'd recommend watching My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and Kiki's Delivery Service, and Ponyo too.
And finally i showed my coworker super mario bros on my 3DS and he had no idea that this was possible.

Hello again, today i wanted to share a bit about Nintendo. Recently they updated their games that could be bought with coins and so i bought Kirby's Dream Land. I haven't played this since i was a little kid and it seemed so hard back then and now i realize how simple it actually was there are only about 5 levels but when you beat it you get the extra game mode with the code Up+Select+A for a little extra fun.
The other games are:
Dr. Mario Online RX for the wii 100 coins
Kirby's Dream Land for the 3DS 100 coins
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for the wii 150 coins
Second thing i wanna share today is PhiliD basicly if you don't have time for the news or reading a newspaper watch this guy he makes it fast and he makes it fun here's his youtube channel sxephil please give it a visit.

Hello! Today i wanted to share and talk a little about art so i decided to draw a little something today just so i could share it, and here it is.
Not too bad if i say so myself. Some quick coloring and a generic BG.
On a different note i have been trying to get into manga a little, although watching animated series is great, reading and seeing illustrations can be just as fun. I've been reading a series called "Sidooh" on www.mangareader.net which i chose at random on my 3DS web browser and thus far its been great. Any time i see well drawn manga it makes me want to pull out my sketch pad and just start drawing, and aside from my random rabbit drawing above, here is a few more little random things i drew today as well.
I plan on maybe customizing my blog with my own art but ill do it when i find some more free time.
Going back to Manga here is Sidooh and also my boss had given me a copy of the first and second books from the series No Longer Human i haven't yet started them but i plan too as soon as i'm done with Sidooh.
Well it's getting late so i'll be hitting the sack, so let me know what you think about either your own art or your opinion about mine or if you decide to check out some manga, what are your thoughts about that and perhaps list your favorites i might decide to check them out myself. G'Nite! >_<.

So today i wanna talk about the Nintendo 3DS and what it can do(not why it sucked at launch).

Since launch Nintendo has added several features it had promised but didn't deliver right way, in my opinion they rushed the console and honestly it was the reason i bought it at launch. I was a little disappointed when i realized not everything was included at around $270 after tax i kinda did feel a little ripped off. But now that the price has dropped and Nintendo also felt like it owed its fans, those of us who got it early were rewarded with 20 free games not available to anyone else. aka. the Ambassador Program.
Anyway still top 3 reasons i would suggest owning one
upload it to their web site, or mess around with it more on your
computer and use it for an even bigger project.
Note that the eShop is updated every Thursday although
thus far the releases have mostly been DSi games and most
have not been that great.
and finally reason 3: pre-loaded software
Right out of the box you have a crappy camera unless you have good
lighting both regular and 3D options, and recently updated you can
finally record 3D Video with it. By the way i would suggest buying
a 4GB SDcard instead of using the 2GB that is included. You also get
5AR cards Augmented Reality which can be used like this...

you also get an AR game Face Raiders, Nintendo 3DS Sound
which can be used to play MP3's you upload to your SD card
Street Pass Mii Plaza which also contains a few games and has
recently been updated as well with new games and content etc.
ANYWAY the list goes on and on but for now it has gone on long enough. For me the 3DS is something that i get excited about and i mostly do use it everyday. It is designed so that you want to carry it with you wherever you go so that you can use all of its features.
Bottom line currently $169.99 NEW BUY ONE!!! It will only keep getting better.

My kids have been watching Spirited Away for about two weeks straight now and we just don't get tired of ever watching it. This aside from Totoro is one of the best anime movies ever!

If you haven't watched it yet i strongly recommend it.
So anyway this is my first blog and my first post i haven't fully decided what i will be using it for but as the title suggests anime art and animation + more.
I'll make suggestions based off of what i have been watching or am interested in as well as share some of my own art.
